STUNNING: First Poll of Trump’s Travel Ban Released…No One Expected THIS!

Since President Donald Trump signed the order to temporarily ban travelers from seven countries that are particular threats of terrorism, the left and the media have been in full meltdown. They have presented a nearly uninterrupted, one-sided hissy fit of epic proportions.

It isn’t hard to know where they stand, or of what they are trying to convince the American people. So how is that working out for them?

According to the latest poll by Rasmussen Reports, not so good. Turns out that Americans have more sense than the DNC, the Hollywood Left and the Washington Press Corp combined.

Most voters approve of President Trump’s temporary halt to refugees and visitors from several Middle Eastern and African countries until the government can do a better job of keeping out individuals who are terrorist threats.

No huge surprise there, but the numbers are truly shocking. It’s not even close…

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 57% of Likely U.S. Voters favor a temporary ban on refugees from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen until the federal government approves its ability to screen out potential terrorists from coming here. Thirty-three percent (33%) are opposed, while 10% are undecided

OK. That’s the refugees, but what about just plain visa seekers who want to vacation or visit relatives. Surely those mean old American voters won’t block them? Yeah, not so much…

Similarly, 56% favor a temporary block on visas prohibiting residents of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen from entering the United States until the government approves its ability to screen for likely terrorists. Thirty-two percent (32%) oppose this temporary ban, and 11% are undecided.

I am happy to report that common sense is not dead in America. 57% of Americans are neither anti-Islam nor racists, they just want to know that our government, with its rich history of failing at basic things, is doing everything possible to keep the country secure and our citizens safe. That doesn’t seem unreasonable to reasonable people, just don’t tell the New York Times newsroom that.
