There are a lot of reasons why people flocked to the polls for Trump. But certainly one of the most popular was his promise to immediately rollback the failed policies inflicted upon us by Obama.
The first 100 days of a president’s tenure are incredibly important, as it is a time to reassure voters that the promises made will be kept, and to set the tone for the remainder of the presidency. No one wants to stumble out of the gates because doing so can cripple a presidency before it even starts.
It appears Republicans don’t have to worry about Trump coasting from the starting line, as he plans to repeal some of Obama’s restrictive policies on day one.
As reported on CNN, on ABC’s ‘This Week,’ incoming White House press secretary Sean Spicer talked about Trump’s agenda heading into office, saying he will “repeal a lot of the regulations and actions that have been taken by this administration over the last eight years that have hampered both economic growth and job creation.”
