In case you haven’t noticed, the US, and all the Western world is suffering from the cancer that is political correctness. This poisonous way of thinking has lead to countless
This poisonous way of thinking has lead to countless deaths and is facilitating the erosion of Western society as a whole.
Problems can no longer be dealt with because we’re no longer able to talk about them honestly, due to fear we’ll break the leftist imposed taboo and thus have our lives ruined for it.
The best example of political correctness concerns the inability for us to have an honest discussion about Islam.
In Britain, thousands of little girls were systematically raped and abused for a decade, all because authorities didn’t want to appear “Islamaphobic” since the perpetrators were all Muslims.
So they did nothing while children’s lives were ruined. That’s how powerful and disgusting this psychosis is.
As reported at the Angry Patriot Movement, conservative Senator Ted Cruz recently tackled this pressing issue in a Fox News interview about the Obama administration’s handling of the 2009 Fort Hood terrorist attack.
Below is the entire program, with Cruz speaking at the 15-minute mark and transcribed below:
Cruz said what is happening in our country as “maddening” and is charging the Obama administration with “willful blindness.”
He referred to Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan, and how authorities were well aware that he was an Islamic radical, yet did nothing about it.
The government was aware of the threat, as communications between Hasan and American-born terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki were intercepted well before the attack.
That alone should have had the feds kicking down his door, but because he was an American Muslim in the military, they were afraid to act because they might be perceived as “Islamaphobes.”
Adding to the evidence were his interactions with co-workers, who had complained on many occasions about his unhinged personality.
He was seen as a “ticking time bomb” who constantly complained about the Muslims the US was killing in the Middle East.
“We asked him pointedly, ‘Nidal, do you consider Shari’a law to transcend the Constitution of the United States?’ And he said, ‘Yes,’ ” a medical school classmate told TIME.”
“We asked him if homicidal bombers were rewarded for their acts with 72 virgins in heaven and he responded, ‘I’ve done the research — yes.’ Those are comments he made in front of the class.”
But such statements apparently didn’t trigger an inquiry.
“I was astounded and went to multiple faculty and asked why he was even in the Army,” the officer said. “Political correctness squelched any opportunity to confront him.”
There are numerous other stories about his interactions that paint a very clear picture that he was a terrorist in waiting.
The guy practically spelled it out for everyone, and in a military classroom no less. But still, nothing was done.
This is the cancer of political correctness, and how much power it has.
It can cause people that have the evidence right before their eyes to look away and deny it, even though to do so would mean risking the deaths of innocents.
This perverse way of thinking must be eradicated before it leads to the destruction of our country.
